What changed: caregivers are staying on
Early turnover, the share of new hires and rehires who left before completing their first two shifts, fell from 54% to 19% between June and September 2026. Hiring caregivers who fit the role the first time means fewer empty shifts and less time re-recruiting for the same position.
The turnover figure covers the eight hires who were still within their first 90 days during this period.
“A great improvement for our non-clinical recruitment over the last 4 months!”
Hiring grew at the same time
From June to September 2026 the office hired 51 non-clinical caregivers, an average of 12.8 a month. Between October 2025 and May 2026 it averaged 5.4 a month.
Active non-clinical caregivers grew from a quarterly average of 36 in Q1 to 50 in Q3 2026, so the team is growing, not just hiring.
